What is the mission of the Young Adults Department?

To serve all young adults, regardless of any impediment they may face in becoming literate.

To foster a sense of community among young adults, many of whom feel there is 'nothing" to do in Colleton County.

To host programs that are fun, engaging, and promote literacy and intellectual growth of the young adults.

To build a collection that is diverse in subject, content, and breadth of humanity.

TEENS..... WE NEED YOU TO BE IN THE VETERAN'S DAY PARADE WITH US. CALLING ALL TAB MEMBERS

We are supporting our Veterans at the Veteran's Day Parade!
Help us promote the library.

We need teens and TAB members to walk behind the bookmobile during the Veteran's Day Parade.

Date: Saturday, November 12th 2011
Time: 10:00 AM
Place: Meet @ Live Oak Cemetery on Jeffries Blvd.
Wear Red, White or Blue

Call me @ the library or come by my office to sign up.

In this case, no permission slip is needed. Please get permission from parents and inform your parents.
