What is the mission of the Young Adults Department?

To serve all young adults, regardless of any impediment they may face in becoming literate.

To foster a sense of community among young adults, many of whom feel there is 'nothing" to do in Colleton County.

To host programs that are fun, engaging, and promote literacy and intellectual growth of the young adults.

To build a collection that is diverse in subject, content, and breadth of humanity.

Sign up now for the "Etiquette for Success" Program.

I wanted everyone to know about this new program Ms. Shiela and I are launching called "Etiquette for Success." It's going to be fun.

Wednesday September 28th, 2011
4-6PM

Limited to 50 students.
Use this afternoon to participate in something that is going to help you with your future.


We are having a Guest Group, The Board of Directors, who will participate in our program.


We want our tweens and teens to be exposed to etiquette.

So just what is etiquette?

Etiquette is the expected or accepted way of behavior that is socially acceptable in professional and other social situations.
